Focus and Scope
Gastro-Hepatology is an international, peer reviewed, open access journal committed to providing high quality, concise updates, research articles, short communications and reviews relevant to the daily practice of both the specialist and the general medical provider. While it is vital for any practitioner to maintain familiarity with the latest advances within their field, the sheer volume of new clinical and basic science research can be overwhelming. Gastro-Hepatology journal main goal is to provide a forum to summarize and critique the latest information, and to provide recommendations that can translate immediately to clinical practice. Additionally, important advances that have not yet reached clinical practice may be reviewed to keep the readership aware of what is just “over the horizon†of care. The journal welcomes submissions for concise updates, research articles, short communications and reviews, as well as feedback and opinions from the readership of recently published work. Gastro-Hepatology publishes quarterly (4 issues per year) with rapid peer reviewed system, which allows faster reviewing and publication.
